Ekko finishes her Novice career with
style! Ekko
earned a First Place ribbon in Novice B and went on to win the High in Trial
ribbon at the German Shepherd Dog Club of Washington's May Trial on
Saturday, May 8th at Carco Park in Renton, Wa.

Ekko, pictured at the far right shares a weekend
of Ribbons and Rosettes with her two friends Dani and Sadie. Ekko
earned a First Place ribbon in Novice B and went on to win the High in Trial
ribbon at the German Shepherd Dog Club of Washington's May Trial on
Saturday, May 8th at Carco Park in Renton, Wa.
Dani, pictured on the far left earned the SAME
placements on Sunday and Sadie (Center) at 11 years old qualified both
days with Firsts in Veteran's!

Well,
we did it and with style too! Ekko earned her CD at the Olympic Kennel
Club’s annual trial on August 16, 2003 with a 3rd place…now
onto Open!
|
| Saturday July 30th, 2003 we trialed with the German Shepherd Schutzhund
Club. It was HOT but Ekko came through and earned her BH. : )
Below is a picture of us on the field performing the off leash work,
and a picture of her with her new favorite "jackpot"....Willie
the Warthog. Her gift for earning her first Obedience Title.
Now if only she'd get her third AKC leg!

It's hard to imagine how far we've
come. From a rambunctious little puppy to an equally rambunctious,
if a wee bit more controllable teen! She's been hard but the payoff
is more than worth it!
Ekko and her surrogate mom, Heloise Bassett, earned their AKC
Canine Good Citizen Titles on the same day!

In March 2002 Ekko took an HIT with Joe at Ewe-topia
and earned her HIC
|
Below, Ekko is concentrating on performing the Novice Figure 8 exercise
at the German Shepherd Dog Club
of Washington State Specialty Show and Trial at Carco Park in Renton. Ekko
has just celebrated her 2nd birthday! We wish her a great
future!
